| EVENTS: Our next meeting in on Wednesday, April 1st at 11:30 a.m. at Pizza Ranch. Adam Steen, gubernatorial candidate, will be our main speaker. At the June meeting, on June 3rd, we will have a presentation from the Buchanan County Sheriff's department K-9 unit. |
This is an early reminder of the next meeting on Wednesday, April 1st at 11:30 a.m. at Pizza
Ranch. Initially, Adam Steen was going to be speaking but that has changed. Now we will
be having Adam Thimmesch speaking. He is going to PRIMARY Chad Ingels!!! That is great
news! So those of you who live in his district, make sure you come to hear this challenger!
In May, Brad Sherman will make another stop to BCC. In June, we have
the Sheriff's department K-9 presentation. In August, Steve Kirby, an expert
on the concerns about Islam in Iowa, will be our speaker.
The Independence Food Pantry sent out their most recent wish-list. If you bring these
items to our next meeting, I will deliver them to the food pantry: baking mix, canned
meat, box meals, laundry soap, and hygiene items.
